TELE-O-POLE II, THE "NO TWIST" STICK.
A unique triangular design by Hastings Hot Line Tools, the originators of Telescoping Hot Sticks. All models are heavy duty designed.

  • RE-DESIGNED LOCK BUTTONS - New shape and larger size are easier to operate with and without gloves.
  • MORE VERSATILE - Use only the number of required sections to perform each job, Example. A 40 ft (12.2 Meters) too! can be reduced to a 20 ft. (6.1 Meters) working height by depressing the lock button and sliding the bottom sections off. This allows for a lightweight tool to perform the work easier.
  • EASY DISASSEMBLY - Simply depress the lock button and slide section, or sections, out. No tools are required for disassembly.

Temporary Dead End Arm

The Temporary Dead End Arm enables a line crew to spread conductors off an existing dead end arm to gain working clearance for reconductoring and terminating the new conductors.

  • Arms are constructed with 3'' Dia. Fiber Glass and a foam core to meet most load requirements for temporary dead ends. The Fiber Glass Arm is electrically tested to OSHA and ASTM F-711 standards.
  • Load Rating - 500 Lbs. (227Kg.) per position or 1,000 Lbs. (554 Kg.) Total working load limit.
  • Arms have two bushed holes with 18" spacing to accommodate 5/8" Dia. hardware bolts for dead ends. Two aluminum sleeves are installed to prevent wear on the fiber glass arm.
  • Steel mounting brackets have multiple holes for adjustment to the various arm sizes. NOTE: adjustment range is described for all catalog numbers shown under ordering information.
  • Arms can be installed on either the top or bottom of existing cross arms.

  • Two styles are available. Butt swivel eye for dead ending a single phase tap line or a 3 way aluminium alloy equipment mounting brakes for mounting a cutout, lighting arrester and dead ending a tap line.
